Staff

Ariel Univer is the head trainer and founder of Blue Feather Farm. She specializes in teaching and training in the Hunter/Jumper discipline, but also has had training through first level dressage and English pleasure riding. Ariel attended the University of Findlay's English Equestrian program, and has been teaching and riding professionally since 2004. Ariel's teaching techniques are focused on creating well rounded equestrians, basing her lesson program on a mix of classic riding techniques as well as modern training and teaching philosophies. She has studied the riding methods of George Morris, ridden in clinics with Kevin Babington and numerous other well known equestrian professionals. Her program is based upon learning all aspects of horse care in a fun, safe, and relaxed atmosphere, and every rider will have a training program specially designed to meet their personal riding goals.
Horse Showing

Blue Feather Farm attends regular NIHJA competitions, as well as Open Shows and Schooling Shows. Our approach to horse showing is based on teamwork and proper sportsmanship. Horse shows are not a required part of the lesson program, but encouraged to all riders looking to showcase the skills learned during lessons.
